PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at RFT (Reliant Firearms and Transfers, LLC) or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We will contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). The buyer is strongly encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase.
USED AND CONSIGNMENT FIREARMS
Used firearms may not be returned. All sales are final. Description and photos (if available) are provided by the seller.
GENERAL FIREARM SALES
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering.
ANY ORDER that is placed that would violate federal, state and/or local law will NOT be fulfilled. Any such order will be CANCELLED and a $25 processing fee will be deducted from your credit card refund.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the manufacturer within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.
Firearms CANNOT be returned if it has left the FFL dealer; if there is a problem with the firearm you will need to contact the manufacturer directly.
Before you proceed with the transfer, make sure you inspect the firearm thoroughly, to ensure that it is the correct item and free of defects.
If you do not inspect the firearm prior to the transfer and leave the FFL dealer with it and there are defects; you will have to contact the manufacturer directly.
If your paperwork is denied, you must pay return shipping back to RFT.
We do NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees. You are responsible for any contract/negotiation with your FFL dealer.
If we ship a firearm to your chosen dealer and the package must be returned to us as a result of your error, you will be charged for the additional costs incurred with the return shipment. Examples of this include, but are not limited to the following:
FFL dealer is on vacation or no longer in business upon package arrival.
FFL dealer refuses shipment.
If you fail your background check.
You choose to change dealers after shipment has occurred.
Firearm is determined (after shipment) to be illegal in your area.
Other situations that are a result of customer error, as determined by RFT
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 10 business days of purchase.
All product returns MUST be accompanied by an RMA number issued by RFT. Any/all product returned to RFT without first obtaining an RMA will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
Special orders (including non-stocked items) and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
Products sold “as is” or “used” or that have been installed or used after receipt.
NFA or other items that require BATFE transfer after the start of paperwork.
Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.
Transferred firearms (issues/repairs must be addressed by the manufacturer)
Clothing (hats, t-shirts, polo’s, jackets and gloves)

Items return with an RMA that are deemed non-defective will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Non-defective status of a product is determined by the sole discretion of RFT.
All items returned must be unused and in original packaging, and packaging can to be cut, altered or destroyed in any way. Do NOT write the RMA number directly on the item or package. If items are received in a condition other than how they were shipped, they will be returned to you.
If you received a defective item, you will need to call the manufacturer of the product directly to get a replacement. Most products carry a manufacturer warranty. RFT does not handle manufacturer warranties.
We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Again, customers are responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between a Web site and a visitor’s Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remains private and secure.
CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS
Your credit card transactions are secure.
All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 – 10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.
All prices quoted (verbally, e-mail, estimate, invoice, etc.) are cash prices with product pickup in Howell, MI. Visa or Mastercard purchases add 3% surcharge. Applicable state sales tax will be added to all orders.
ONLINE PRICE & DESCRIPTION ERRORS
Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item’s description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card or we will refund the money.
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
Any firearm not picked up within 30 days of arrival is subject to a $5 per day storage fee unless prior arrangements are made. Once the storage fees exceed the value of the firearm, we reserve the right to sell the firearm to recover storage fees.
All RFT policies are subject to revision at any time.
